NOTE: We are NOT trained therapists, doctors, or advice givers. We are a couple of sexy freaks who thought it important to chat about something we ALL deal with: depression and how it comingles within the lifestyle. If you feel trapped and like you have nowhere to go and you need to speak with someone please please reach out to one of the many hotlines that can help you! In Australia: Lifeline (13 11 14) is a 24-hour nationwide service that provides access to crisis support, suicide prevention, and mental health support services. They also offer an online chat service. In the US: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK [8255]) is a United States-based suicide prevention network of 161 crisis centers that provides a 24/7, toll-free hotline available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. Or find someone in your country here! Finally, there is one that we think is extremely important: The Trevor Project is a US-based organization that provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth. While The Trevor Project is technically based in the US but they have a phone number, email support, online chat, and text support and can point you towards someone local who will listen to you and support you! On with the show notes... In this episode, we continue our talks about negative headspace and the pressures that, specifically, ladies put on themselves. We address putting our emotions in boxes and the dangers with that. We also discuss letting go and allowing yourself to have fun by learning to ask for what you need and what you want. So go grab a drink! Then, sit back, enjoy, and as always, thank you for listening! Find us on social media!!!
