Despite growing up as a star athlete, Angel Flores (Queer Eye) spent her first 20 years of life feeling physically different on the outside from what she identified as on the inside. She couldn't place exactly what made her feel different until she listened to a podcast from a transgender woman who spoke about her very similar youth – not feeling like she fit in, struggling with depression, and relating more to girls than boys. A few years ago, Angel began the transition process, and today she feels like a joyful woman, confident in her own skin, and stronger than ever! She shares with us how she communicated with her parents through her upbringing and transition. She also gives us insight into what it's like to star on Queer Eye.
